Interesting fact that Sarah Josepha Hale, author of the nursery rhyme "Mary Had a Little Lamb", is the reason we are all celebrating Thanksgiving Day. She had vision and tenacity to fight for unity. After almost four decades, in 1863 Abraham Lincoln heeled her request proclaiming a national holiday asking God to “heal the wounds of the nation.”
What's priceless to you? For me it's spending time with family and friends, praising God, laughing (best medicine), rocking babies, walking dog, celebrating, helping, dancing and observing countless blessings- sunrise,

smiles, sunset, birds, music, moon, stars, fire, water, food, health, etc….
It seems we get distracted at times focusing on what we do not have verses the priceless blessings that surrounds us. This requires us to be where our feet are according to Dr. Kevin Elko. He shared a story about a man that lost his home and wife in the Tuscaloosa tornadoes says, "I'm not looking for blessings, I am looking to be the blessing". Wow, if only we would live with this mindset then we can pay priceless forward….
